The Art of Archery

w/ Master Justin

Young Mystics will begin with an introduction to bow design, basic handling and stringing. Next step is learning how to shoot safely. The last step would be on arrow making! 

 

Yoga Play in the Park

w/ Master Sara

A playful yoga practice that facilitates the Young Mystics' exploration of their physical and spiritual bodies, in a safe and nurturing environment. This will lead into a series of games to excersise body and mind. We will play games that uses strategy and teamwork, while allowing ourselves to be playful and have fun! These activities will be held outdoors weather permitting!

 

The Art of Puppetry 

w/ Master Soks

Young Mystics will learn the history of different puppet styles, from stick to shadow to marionette to sock. They will design and create an original puppet character, and learn how to tell a story though puppetry! As in life, they will learn that possibilities are only limited by the imagination!

 

Get to Know Your Crystal Friends! 

w/Master Jessica

Young Mystics will work with the energies of rocks, crystals, colors, essential oils and other natural and magical materials to create their very own dream catcher. Mystics will be encouraged to explore their intention behind their creation and most importantly, to have fun! Each piece will be infused with gentle Reiki energy and paired with a written affirmation so that young Mystics can connect with the beautiful energy of their dream catcher whenever they want.

Journey to Japan 

w/Master Minori

Manners, good posture, music, language, calligraphy, folklore and tea ceremony... the ancient and sometimes mysterious cultural traditions of Japan will come to life for our Young Mystics in this most special session, giving them a taste for travel and adventure!

 

Reiki level 1 

w/ Reiki Master Silvie

Young Mystics will learn about energy, chakras, about the history of Reiki which means in translation the Universal Life Force Energy. They will receive the Reiki attunement and they will learn how to practice a self-healing. Reiki is an ancient healing modality, which is safe and simple. Reiki was rediscovered by a Japanese monk Dr Mikao Usui. Every Young Mystic will become a Certified Level 1 Reiki Master in this program.

 

Wilderness Animal Spotting and Treasure Hunting

w/ Master Jacob 

 

Theatre Arts & Life Skills 

w/ Master Henry∞Cameron

Using local lore and history for inspiration, Young Mystics will cultivate acting, voice, movement, and writing skills to learn ethics, values, and basic Life Skills. 

 

Story Telling at the Piano 

w/ Master Lori

Young Mystics will think of their own scene, emotion or story. Master Lori will play a supporting accompaniment as they improvise their story on the piano. Children love to imagine, create and express themselves through many different mediums. Music is an ideal way to communicate without words. No musical experience necessary!

 

Nutrition Detectives 

w/ Master Lori

Young Mystics will learn how to fuel themselves with foods that give natural energy, clearer minds and healthier bodies. They will learn how to read food labels, discover the facts about what sugar does to the human body. This is an interactive workshop. Food journals and handouts provided.
